The BV270 HD offers the same extreme performance of the other high-demand (HD) batteries, the BV100 HD and the BV190 HD. The battery is able to sustain a draw of 12 Amps without damage to the battery or shutting down the camera. This allows the user to power multiple devices without using multiple batteries - even though the weight of the BV270 HD is only three pounds, the same as the 160Wh battery of the leading manufacturer.
